Since the beginning of the conflict, LWB has been committed to developing emergency solutions for the accommodation, guidance and inclusion of Ukrainian refugees. On Ukraine’s borders, in Poland and Moldova, in France, then in Italy and now in Belgium, LWB sets up safe spaces to provide information, psycho-social support and educational activities for refugees.

Learning the language of your host country is essential: to get your bearings, to take administrative steps for your status, or simply to become integrated or look out for the future. Until today, no free and practical solution existed to learn Dutch from Ukrainian using the Cyrillic alphabet. Karibu Belgium now makes this possible.
